Every sluggish person is blaming his grievances on the authorities. Everyone is blaming the authorities for their failures, sociologist Aharon Adibekyan said today speaking about the motives of Sasna Dzrer armed group that has been occupying a police building in Erebuni district since July 17. He described the incident as a terror attack, although such a statement was made earlier by the National Security Service which later used other terms to describe the group. While the sociologist refrains from speaking about the reasons for the attack that forced the group members to take up arms, he uses the expression ‘childish act’ to describe the action of the Sasna Dzrer group led by Pavel Manukyan and Arayik Khandoyan (also known as Lone Wolf). Unlike Adibekyan, psychologist Samvel Khudoyan says the main reasons for the present situation are the numerous problems accumulated in the country for many years. Regardless of public calls for radical reforms, the authorities simply started a formal fight against corruption, arresting 1-2 persons. “Nothing has changes as a result,” he stressed. He says the emotions accumulated in the society caused this situation and it is not accidental that many are in Khorenatsi Street today to support the Sasna Dzrer group members. Mr Khudoyan is sure that this will not be the end, the authorities should draw corresponding conclusions otherwise they will face new actions.
