Even investigator was amused to hear why civil activist was detained
Civil activist Anushik Harutyunyan was among the individuals who were taken to police stations from Khorenatsi street on Monday. She says the investigator was amused with her to hear that she was detained on suspicion of illegal arms possession. In reality, during the detention Anushik tried to help her friends Elmone and Simone Yeghnukyan, Arman Arakelyan who were being forcibly taken to a police car only for making a poster that read, “There is no way out!” “They did not use force against me, jostle or punch, because I said that I shall sit in the car myself,” says Anushik. The civil activist says although she was not subjected to vioelnce at the police station, she felt psychological pressure. Anush and the other detainees were released six hours later.
