I fear lest they might try to storm the building and neutralize the group - Manvel Yeghiazaryan
Speaking about the actions of the armed group calling itself Sasna Dzrer (Daredevils of Sasoun) that continues to occupy a police building in Yerevan, Arabo detachment commander Manvel Yeghiazaryan said ‘the authorities forced these people to this step.’ “I'm not defending them, but I cannot condemn them either,” he said. “People do not have work, poverty and inequality are deepening, girls cannot form families because many guys are working outside Armenia, etc. The authorities are to blame for everything. I fear lest they [authorities] might try to storm the building and neutralize the group because hatred will increase thus. People do not have a special love towards this government,” Mr Yeghiazaryan said.
