Erdogan urges people not to leave the streets: ermenihaber
The statement of the President’s Office of Turkey calls on the people to stay on the streets. The statement posted by the official Twitter page of President’s Office reads: “Irrespective of the level of this rebellion, we should take to the streets in the evening and control the situation, as new movement may start at any moment.” More here Turkish Anadolu agency informs, that 7 servicemen and 1 civilian, who were among initiators of the military coup attempt in Turkey left for Greece by a military helicopter and landed at Dedeaghach airport. The servicemen asked for political asylum from the Greek government. According to Twitter post of Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkey demanded the return of the Turkish servicemen from Greece.
