SRC Chairman on China's possible accession to EEU (video)
Head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia, Hovhannes Hovsepyan, believes that Armenia can deepen economic ties with China and achieve even greater results. Today he participated in the opening of the Centre for Chinese Studies at Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences. In reply to A1+’s question concerning China's possible accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, Mr Hovsepyan said ‘everything is possible in life.’ “If a powerful country like China joins the EEU, the member states will only benefit from it. China is a rich country with great economic potential. The membership will only be beneficial for the member countries in terms of industry and services,” he said. at the request of journalists Hovhannes Hovsepyan also spoke about the new Electoral Code of Armenia. He does not share the opinion that the new code will harm small and medium-sized enterprises. “We do not want to harm SMEs. It is excluded,” he said.
