Heated debates start in Washington over U.S. Policy toward Putin’s Russia (video)
Controversy has emerged among U.S. lawmakers over Washington's foreign policy towards Moscow. In his opening remarks at the hearing “U.S. Policy toward Putin's Russia,” House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) drew attention to the worsening relations between Russia and the United States. “For the first time since the Cold War we have appeared in a situation when we have to increase our military presence in Europe in order to protect NATO member-countries.
