Discussion on united air defense agreement postponed (video)

Action participant Mushegh Danielyan said that the discussion on the agreement on the united air defense system between Armenia and Russia has been removed from the NA agenda, there will be no discussion and they stop their action. He says that the issue will be at the center of their attention and they follow the developments.
11:02 Action against the united air defense system agreement has kicked off outside the building of the National Assembly.
Through this action ‘We are the masters of our country’ initiative is aiming at the prevention of the agreement on the “the Creation of a United Regional Air Defense System in the Caucasus Region of Collective Security between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation” by the National Assembly.
“According to that agreement, a body controlling Armenia’s air defense will be established and will be governed by Russia, and Russia will manage the air defense of Armenia and Artsakh (the air defense of Armenia and Artsakh forms one general system) during decision-making on the issues of Armenia’s air defense during peace or war,” note organizers of the action.
