Artsakh Ombudsman visits Hayk Khanumyan
On June 8 in the morning Artsakh’s Human rights defender Ruben Melikyan visited the NKR NA lawmaker Hayk Khanumyan in the republican medical center of Stepanakert. At the request of Ombudsman, the lawmaker presented the investigative actions in which he is involved. In particular, Mr Khanumyan noted that according to the decision of the investigator he had been recognized an aggrieved party, he had been interrogated, got acquainted with the decision on determining forensic medical examination. The Ombudsman also inquired whether Khanumyan has a representative of interests along lines of the criminal case. The lawmaker noted that he personally presented his interests along lines of the criminal case. At the end of the meeting Ombudsman stated that the proceedings will remain at the center of his attention in line with the statement made on June 6.
