“PSRC says Kremlin has taken us captive” (video)
On May 31 the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) will make a final decision on reducing gas price for consumers by 9.3 drams. “When we say 9.3, it is the same 19.4 dollars in drams by 480 exchange rate,” noted Garegin Baghramyan, Head of Tariff Policy Department of the PSRC. “At present we are imposed those 9.3 drams. It is even funny. The crime committed by the commission of Robert Nazaryan, is unacceptable,” said Arshak Sadoyan, member of the Public Council. On the border gas price has been reduced from USD 165 to 150 USD. In this case to what extent is this reduction in gas price reasoned for consumers? “At present, yes, I think that it is reasoned, taking into account all the legal regulations,” said Mr Baghramyan. “That so called independent commission that should have nothing to do with politics, says that Kremlin has taken us captive. 10 percent of that gas price is in Putin’s pocket, we have a political problem,” highlighted Mr Sadoyan.
