The residents of Kaghtsrashen threaten to close the village’s school if they aren’t given the whole money for the grape harvest purveyed last year. Today the residents have been demanding an answer from Prime Minister outside the Government building. “The people have left their work, we meet either in the village or come here, we aren’t able to work. We were promised to be paid the money until May 10, but yesterday we waited for the money for the whole day standing in the sun in the village, but there was no money,” Kaghtsrashen resident Ashot Khakhuryan told “A1+”. Later one of the police officers said that Prime Minister was busy and could not receive them, and Alexander Ghazaryan, Head of the Government Department that deals with the acceptance and discussion of citizen requests, had nothing to say and asked the journalists not to shoot his conversation with villagers. The residents of the village note that if it continues in the same way they will have neither money nor desire to continue their agricultural activities.
