USD 30 million loan to power sector
Today the Government approved Power Sector Financial Recovery Program for Results Project signed between Armenian and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. According to that project USD 30 million loan will be provided to Armenia, which repayment period will be 25 years, 14.5 of which will be privileged. The objective of the Project is to support Armenia’s efforts to maintain adequate and reliable electricity supply through improvement of the financial standing of the state-owned power generation companies and the private power distribution company.
