UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia: It is extremely important to have peace in the country and in the region (video)
The presentation of “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” was held in Yerevan with the participation of Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Bradley Busetto and many others. “Not only should the government and other agencies, but also the entire society and you, representatives of media, unite efforts to promote a sustainable development, to struggle against injustice and other issues,” Bradley Busetto said after the event. In reply to a question concerning Azerbaijan’s recent aggression on the border with Karabakh, mutilation and beheading of Armenian soldiers by Azerbaijani armed forces, Mr Busetto said, “Today we are speaking sustainable development and the prospects of Armenia. I am sorry but cannot comment on these cases. But, of course, I must say that it is extremely important to have peace in the country and in the region in order to pursue development prospects in safe conditions.”
