Telman Markosyan, a 19-year-old Armenian soldier wounded during the April skirmishes in Talish village of Karabakh’s Martakert region, is still lying at the Central Clinical Military Hospital of Yerevan “Telman is recovering slowly but he needs another operation. One of his ears is blocked because of a fragment left there,” Vova Ter-Sahakyan, a relative of the wounded soldier, told A1+. The date of the operation has not been fixed yet. Telman was wounded on April 5 and has already undergone several operations. He did not tell his relatives about his condition when he talked to them on the phone later in the same day. Telman’s family lives in Gyumri. Vova Ter-Sahakyan says they can hardly make both ends meet and cannot even visit their son in the hospital very often. “The family does not have enough money to pay for his future treatment. I do not think that the hospital will agree to cover all expenses either,” he added.
