Captain Azat Stepanyan discharged from hospital
Captain Azat Stepanyan, who was placed under treatment at the Central clinical military hospital of Yerevan about 20 days ago, has been discharged from hospital. The 26-year-old Captain was wounded in the April skirmishes in the Karabakh conflict zone. “Azat continues treatment at home. Doctors regularly visited us to attend his wound. He has not recovered fully,” said Azat’s mother, Zhanna Khudoyan. She added that Azat is in a good mood. Azat was injured in the leg. He has undergone several operations and need another one for full recovery. He still cannot walk without crutches.
