Hovik Abrahamyan: we will make a comprehensive statement in the future (video)
Armenian lawmaker Tevan Poghosyan today spoke about the recent dismissals in the Armenian government. He asked the Prime Minister if any written or verbal instruction had been issued to carry out studies in institutions under his jurisdiction and whether similar changes might be implemented in non-military institutions which are of great importance for the military. “I want to announce that the four-day war revealed many questions and concerns, unwelcome political figures for our society. I think we have many issues to discuss and criticize not only in the government, but also in the National Assembly. The government is always looking to the future, learning lessons from the past. We shall make a comprehensive statement in the future, we shall reconsider all planned changes,” Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said. “When will the package be ready and do you plan to make changes in the budget, too?” asked the lawmaker. “When we have the package at our disposal we shall discuss it. At present, I would just like to advise our political figures not to make use of the situation and be engaged in populism. Let us get together and start discussion, we have little time before the next parliamentary elections,” Hovik Abrahamyan said.
