Nagorno-Karabakh’s Defense Ministry says the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will be informed of all ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan along the Line of Contact. “As an international impartial, neutral and independent organization, the ICRC will be periodically informed of all cases of ceasefire violations as well as last night’s intense shelling in the direction of Martakert city and other civilian settlements,” the NKR Defense Ministry said in a statement. Earlier, Karabakh military reported that Azerbaijan continues violating the ceasefire agreement reached between the conflicting parties on April 5. The source said that intensive fire along the entire length of the Line of Contact observed on April 26 continued overnight, with Azerbaijan using almost all types of artillery, including mortars, howitzers as well as MM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers. Hayk Minasyan, a 20-year-old Armenian soldier, was fatally wounded in the skirmishes.
