Eduard Sharmazanov: Armenia’s biggest ally is its people and Artsakh (video)
Eduard Sharmazanov, Vice-Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, excludes territorial concessions to Azerbaijan. Talking to A1+ at the Genocide memorial complex in Yerevan, Mr Sharmazanov said, “Our primary concern is to ensure the existence of free and independent Artsakh.” When reminded about Russia’s neutral stance during the latest Azerbaijani aggression in the Karabakh border and asked whether Armenia should not look for a new ally, Mr Sharmazanov said, “Yes, we always need allies, but I think Armenia’s biggest ally is its people and Artsakh.”
