Today we have one task- the actions of Azerbaijan must be qualified as war crime, Naira Zohrabyan, member of the Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), told “A1+”. “The state, which university’s official website publishes the photo of the soldier beheaded by Azerbaijanis, officially admits that it is a terrorist state, there is no other formulation or assessment,” said Naira Zohrabyan. Today she showed the members of the ad hoc Sub-Committee on Conflicts between Member States of the Council of Europe those photos registered by the Red Cross, which should not be published taking into account the rules of ethics. “The photos and pictures simply shocked our colleagues. Head of the Azerbaijani delegation once again tried to cry from his place that the secretariat must have authorized to show something and that they also could show; I insisted on showing, but they didn’t show,” said Naira Zohrabyan. According to the words of the member of the Armenian delegation to the PACE, the Council of Europe doesn’t have a mandate to deal with the conflict and the only positive work, which it can do, is to refrain from hindering.
