Argishiti Gaboyan's relatives not allowed to see the body of deceased soldier
Relatives of Armenian Argishiti Gaboyan, who went missing after the start of deadly clashes of in the Karabakh conflict zone, were not allowed to enter the Stepanakert Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to identify the body of the 23-year-old captain. As reported earlier, on Wednesday, Azerbaijani side handed over the body of a deceased Armenian serviceman to the Karabakh side near Bash-Karvend. The handover was organized with the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office. Argishiti’s relatives went to the ICRC Office in Stepanakert to know get information about him. They were told that they need to take DNA paternity testing to become sure that it was Gaboyan’s body.
