Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan has officially requested Russia's Human Rights Commissioner to provide the necessary medical aid to Levon Hayrapetyan, a Russian-Armenian businessman jailed in Moscow. Arman Tatoyan said he was especially concerned to know that the 67-year-old ailing businessman was taken to an overcrowded cell and stressed that Hayrapetyan needs everyday care and supervision, and the transfer could be a serious threat to the man’s health and life. The Armenian ombudsman asked to take all necessary measures to provide medical care to Hayrapetyan and eliminate life- and health-endangering conditions for Levon Hayrapetyan,” the Armenian ombudsman’s press service reports.
