Republican mayors re-elected in Armenian communities
The preliminary results of the Sunday mayoral election in Armenia’s Hrazdan town are already known. Accordingly, incumbent Republican Mayor Aram Danielyan is leading with 12 510 votes. Sasun Mikaelyan, a member of the Civil Contract Party, is second with 10 267 votes, followed by Artur Misakyan, a member of the Amenian Revival Party, who received 1 237 votes. A total of 834 ballots were considered invalid. ————– The mayor of Talin community was also re-elected to his post. Republican Sargis Aramyan has received 1 993 votes, while his contenders Tigran Harutyunyan (ARF-Dashnaktsutyun) and Gurgen Grigoryan (Armenian Revival Party), have 1 036 and 168 votes respectively.
