Gurgen Yeghiazaryan's advice to National Security Service (video)
Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, former deputy director of National Security Service (NSS), says he has heard only good things about Georgi Kutoyan, the newly appointed director of the NSS. The former NSS official has important and useful ‘advice’ for Kutoyan. “The NSS should restore the special purpose unit. If necessary, the unit can penetrate into the enemy’s territory at a depth of up to 50 kilometers. Unfortunately, I cannot say why it was given to the police forces,” Mr Yeghiazaryan said. The politician also advises Georgi Kutoyan to consider the possibility of giving NSS staff wages that will not hurt their dignity. “An officer who has devoted himself to the NSS should not think of other ways to keep his family,” he stressed. While Gurgen Yeghiazaryan believes Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan who said that they can find finances to purchase firearms for our army, he thinks it can be done by cutting funds of budgetary organizations. “All millionaires, who have earned millions over the past 22 years, should think about sharing their property with the government,” Mr Yeghiazaryan said.
