Peskov: Situation in Nagorno Karabakh is far from being stable
Kremlin states that Moscow will continue to support the peaceful resolution of the NK issue, said today Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the RF President Vladimir Putin, highlighting that the situation in Nagorno Karabakh is far from being stable. “Of course, this time also large operative work has been carried out at different levels for the cessation of fire,” Peskov stated that official Moscow will continue to support the resolution of the Karabakh issue. He reminded that Russia is a Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group and has been putting serious efforts for ensuring peaceful resolution since the beginning of the conflict. “Before the resumption of heated clashes there were very good developments, many positive steps were carried out toward the resolution, but at present, alas, a step backward was taken, and it will be necessary to fill the gap,” noted Putin’s press secretary.
