Hrant Bagratyan: Int’l community admits that hostilities were resumed by Azerbaijan (video)
Today is the day when Armenia should recognize the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. This would be the most appropriate move by Armenia, given the ongoing tensions on the Line of Contact, a senior member of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction said on Monday. “The world has already admitted that the hostilities were resumed by Azerbaijani and that Azerbaijan has violated the 1994 truce, thereby pulling out of negotiations. If so, Azerbaijan should receive an adequate response,” said Hrant Bagratyan. He reminds that about 20 years ago Armenia was warned against recognizing the independence of Karabakh, which meant withdrawal from the negotiation process. Azerbaijan has left us behind. We can no longer speak about talks as Azerbaijan is no longer involved in the process,” Mr Bagratyan stressed.
