Robert Nazaryan's speech angers Hrant Bagratyan (video)
Armenian lawmaker Hrant Bagratyan was angered by the speech of Robert Nazaryan, Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), who addressing the Armenian legislature today, began to enumerate the countries where electricity tariffs are much higher than those in Armenia. Angered by these words, Bagratyan interrupted Nazaryan saying salaries in those countries are four times higher than salaries in Armenia. The debate continued throughout Nazaryan's speech. “When you were a prime minister, you persuaded everyone that socialism is not a good thing that everyone should have liberal ideas but today you again want us to return to the Soviet era,” Nazaryan said. The PSRC Chairman added that considering the complaints in the press, the PSRC has arranged a discussion with the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) and instructed the ENA to investigate the complaints about meters.
