Armenian Foreign Office offers condolences to Turkey

Armenia’s Foreign Ministry has expressed condolences to the Turkish people in connection with the Sunday terrorist act in Ankara that has claimed dozens of human lives. “We are extending our condolences to the families of the victims,” Tigran Balayan, Spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a Twitter post. Russian President Vladimir Putin also condemned the terrorist act in Ankara despite strained relations between the two countries. Several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Russia, have already condemned a suicide bomb attack in Ankara that claimed at least 37 lives.
