Decision on the case of Gevorg Safaryan to be released tomorrow (video)
Tomorrow in the morning it will be clear whether member of “New Armenia” Gevorg Safaryan will be released or not. During the court hearing in the Court of Appeal, which lasted for about two hours, Gevorg Safaryan and his advocate were trying to justify that keeping the activist in custody is illegal. By the way, neither the investigator, nor the prosecutor in the case attended the court hearing. Advocate Tigran Hayrapetyan once again claimed that keeping Gevorg Safaryan in custody is illegal. A protest action in support of the opposition activist was held in the yard of the court. When Gevorg Safaryan was leaving the court building in a police car, the action participants started vociferating his name.
