Statue of Garegin Nzhdeh in the center of Yerevan (video)
In the near future Yerevan will have the statue of Garegin Nzhdeh. It will be put up in Khachkars’ Park- in the territory between Vernissage and National Gallery. The construction activities of the pedestal have been underway for already 7 days. “The statue will be 7 meters high, there will be stairs from two sides. The concrete activities of the pedestal will be over in two-three days, then another company will continue the construction,” construction activities coordinator-builder Sergey Avetisyan told “A1+”. He claims that the statue will be put up already in April. The idea belongs to two persons- sculptor Gagik Stepanyan and honored architect Aslan Mkhitaryan.
