Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations to divide into two separate ministries (video)
The National Assembly today passed a bill proposing amendments to the law on the “Structure of the Armenian Government” with 71 votes in favour, 17 votes against and 1 abstention. Pursuant to the new law, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations will be divided into two separate ministries –the the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development. The latter will be given to the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF, Dashnaktsutyun) and will be headed by David Lokyan.
