In her final speech at the February 19 special session of the Armenian National Assembly, Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan again spoke about the expression “political expediency” she had used in her speeches. “While I was a legislator, I saw people seeking political asylum within the faction. I wonder why you are surprised at my sincerity. Haven’t you noticed that? It is news for you? When you speak about sacrifices, I must say that I feel bad when I see that human values and human relations are sacrificed. Am I guilty of it or is it the responsibility of most people sitting here,” she said.
