Vahram Baghdasaryan: All spinsters make such statements (video)
Speaking at today’s parliamentary briefings, Head of the parliamentary faction of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) said he is surprised to hear everybody speaking only about portfolios these days. “We have a way to go, and we are likely to form a coalition government to cooperate with other forces. We cannot solve problems in haste,” Vahram Baghdasaryan said on Friday. In reply to the announcement of opposition lawmaker Levon Zurabyan who said the cooperation between the HHK and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun reminds him of a marriage, the HHK official said, “All spinsters make such statements.” When reminded that the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) announced that in 2017 it will form a parliamentary majority and BHK Leader Naira Zohrabyan personally told it to a journalist during a private conversation, Mr Baghdasaryan said half joking, “I have a good friend. Once his grandson goes to him and says, “Grandpa, I want to know a secret that I can tell everyone. Now, the BHK is doing the same thing. Let them first form a parliamentary majority, then we shall talk.”
