Z. Postanjyan- one joint candidate of the opposition? (video)
After the resignation of Karen Andreasyan the names of candidates for the position of Ombudsman have been actively circulated. The NA independent lawmaker Edmon Marukyan announced that he will propose the candidacy of Zaruhi Postanjyan in the committee. “We want the opposition to propose one joint candidate,” “Heritage” lawmaker Zaruhi Postanjyan told “A1+”. Mrs. Postanjyan thinks that the candidacy of Ombudsman must not be an occasional choice, “Ombudsman must have certain knowledge and experience.” It is unacceptable for the lawmaker that the candidacy for the position of Ombudsman must be proposed by the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and not by Human Rights Committee, “Human Rights Committee is out of control of the HHK; there are many members of the opposition.” Details on the video
