Edmon Marukyan sees Zaruhi Postanjyan as next Human Rights Defender
Armenian lawmaker Hovhannes Margaryan says former Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan explained reasons for his resignation. “He [Andreasyan] had written everything. He saved his honour and decided to leave; he understood that he could not provide whatever her had written [in his yearend report], says the lawmaker of the Country of Law Party (OEK). Hovhannes Margaryan says whoever the next ombudsman is, he will not be able to defend himself. “No matter how hard Andreasyan tried, he would not be able to do anything. Even if he was replaced by [Levon] Ishtoyan, he would still be a midfielder.” By the way, lawmaker Edmon Marukyan offers to nominate Zaruhi Postanjyan as the next human rights defender of Armenia.
