Hollande orders new bill criminalizing denial of Armenian Genocide
On January 28, during the annual dinner of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF), Francois Hollande spoke about the need of a law criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide mentioning that he entrusted its preparation to the former president of the European Court of Human Rights Jean-Paul Costa. “I have asked Jean-Paul Costa, who is one of our best lawyers, to find in our legislation any solid, indisputable way that will allow protecting the memory of the Armenian Genocide,” Francois Hollande said.
