Permyakov trial interrupted: Doctors arrive in courtroom
The court sitting in the high-profile murder case in Armenia’s Gyumri city today was interrupted after one of the successors of the slain Avetisyan family suddenly felt unwell in the courtroom. The incident happened when Rita Petrosyan, one of the witnesses in the case, was giving evidence in court in the shooting and stabbing rampage allegedly committed by Russian soldier Valery Permyakov. Physicians arrived in the courtroom, who rendered first aid to the daughter of the murdered family. The relatives of the Avetisyan family and ambulance employees are now gathered in the courtroom. During today’s trial, Valery Permyakov admitted to all charges levied against him.
