Vahan Babayan sure we will gain victory in PACE (video)
PACE winter session will be held on January 25-29, during which two anti-Armenian resolutions will be debated. During the meeting with journalists today the press secretary of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), member of the PACE delegation Vahan Babayan noted that they do their best in order to gain victory and neutralize the anti-Armenian moods of Azerbaijanis. He also touched upon the possible resignation of the Head of the Armenian delegation Hermine Naghdalyan and the appointment of Samvel Farmanyan instead of her by stating that he is not aware of such rumors and Hermine Naghdalyan has worked well as a head of the delegation. Asked whether those two reports will have serious impact if they are approved, Vahan Babayan doesn’t give any assessments, he only notes that Azerbaijanis will try to use them in different platforms in order to achieve their goals. What relates to online petition against the anti-Armenian resolutions, Mr. Babayan thinks that it has no legal power, it will have only moral influence, by which the Armenians will show their unity. He doesn’t accept the viewpoint that all the delegates of the PACE have been bribed and that we cannot gain victory without the participation of the Russian delegation. More on video
