How many households benefited from energy price subsidy?

After the changes in the order of electricity price subsidy in October, over 78,8% of the population were provided with electricity price compensation for the electricity consumed in October. The number of those consumers was 601 000 in October. Compensation for consumers amounted to AMD 534,5 million in October. In November, the money allocated to subsidize the difference in consumers’ electricity bills in November amounted to AMD 487 million. The number of consumers in November was more than 543 000 (over 70% of consumers),” Gohar Poghosyan said.
