The identity of Istanbul suicide bomber has been found out; he was 27-year-old Syrian, informs RIA Novosti. After the strong explosion in Sultanahmet district, a district of Istanbul popular with tourists, the foreigners are cancelling the reservations and leaving Istanbul, informs Turkish Sondakika news website. Yashar Yavuz, Sultanahmet’s Tour Operators Union President, announced that the explosion has been a serious blow to tourism. “During this period there are about 7000 hotels. Tourists, who have arrived in Istanbul, are cancelling the trips and leaving. They have already started buying return tickets. Due to this blast, 2016 can be considered over in terms of tourism. The cancellation of reservations has already started,” informed Yavuz. To note, Today in the morning at 10:20 local time an explosion has occurred in Sultanahmet district, a district of Istanbul popular with tourists. 10 people were killed and 15 people were injured as a result of the blast.
