Unanswered questions after a year (video)
One year after the murder of the Avetisyan family there are lots of unanswered questions. According to Advocate Norayr Norikyan the unanswered questions are mainly connected with the decision of the Russian side not to hand over Valeri Permyakov to the Armenian side. According to the Advocate there is legal casus, “After being sentenced to a certain punishment Permyakov will have the right of pardon, whom will he turn to in order to use that right- to the President of the Republic of Armenia or the President of the Russian Federation? If the abovementioned person obtains disease hindering him from serving the rest of the sentence, the court of which country will solve the issue of possibility to free him from serving his sentence?” The advocate refrains from giving assessments to the circumstances arisen during the trial, but he expresses his views on the actions of the RA Law Enforcement System from January 12, 2015 until present.
