Hunger strike continues in Nubarashen prison
It has been nine days since lifers started hunger strike in Nubarashen prison. According to Gor Ghlechyan, spokesman for the Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Department, at present 32 lifers continue their hunger strike with the demand to review their criminal cases. They are under medical supervision. Yesterday the relatives of the lifers held protest actions at the Government building and later at the National Assembly with the demand to review the criminal cases. Today a meeting with lawmakers is scheduled at the National Assembly.
