Relatives of life-termers today held a march from the government building to the Presidential Palace to pose their demands. The group gathered outside the Government on Monday, demanding a meeting with Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. They want the premier to deal with the problems of lifers and take the issue under his direct control. However, they were unable to meet the head of the Armenian Government. The parents have gathered 12,000 signatures with the demand to reconsider the cases of lifers and want to give the signatures to Serzh Sargsyan. About 32 lifers in Armenia have been staging a hunger strike for 8 days with a demand to review their cases.
