Ishkhan Zakaryan did not respond to Nikol Pashinyan (video)
In its special session on December 18, the National Assembly debated the Control Chamber’s annual report. CC Chairman Ishkhan Zakaryan entered the NA hall immediately after the speech of the opposition lawmaker Nikol Pashinyan. In his final speech, Mr Zakaryan touched upon the speeches of all MPs with the exception of Nikol Pashinyan. The CC Chairman said the 2014 report was much better than the reports of the previous years. “If you follow what is happening in the Control Chambers of the world, you can see that our approach is very close to reality. We are trying to learn new things in the process… next year we will develop a program that will allow oversighting the performance of social services,” Mr Zakharyan said adding that people should not have the impression that ‘the Control Chamber can do everything.’ Discussions continue in the National Assembly.
