Azerbaijan must be brought to real field
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Shavarsh Kocharyan hopes that after the meeting of Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Alkiyev scheduled on December 19 in Bern, Switzerland, we will able to bring Azerbaijan into a real field. “Whatever Azerbaijan does, all its steps contradict both the international right, all the calls of the mediators and the international practice, in general,” said Shavarsh Kocharyan today after the Government sitting. According to his words, the position, which has been adopted by Azerbaijan both in power and diplomatic field, fully correspond to each other. “To add, initially Azerbaijan has adopted power politics in the issue of Karabakh conflict including Sumgait massacres etc, and hasn’t given up it until today. Unless it gives up, any progress in the negotiations process is impossible, and the second, the international community must realize that the only solution is the international recognition of the NKR,” he summed up.
