Dashnaks will not join HAK petition to dispute referndum outcome at CC
Artsvik Minasyan, a lawmaker of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun, today spoke about the opposition’s initiative to collect signatures to file a claim with the Constitutional Court (CC) against the outcome of the constitutional referendum. He said it was ‘a zero initiative.’ “Can we conclude that the Dashnaktsutyun does not join the initiative?” Vice-Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov asked Mr Minasyan. “We have not even seen the form,” the Dashnak lawmaker said. “Is everything decided by paper?” added Mikael Melkumyan of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK). The Armenian National Congress (HAK) has stated signature collection in the National Assembly for an application to the CC. The faction needs at least 27 signatures for the petition.
