After a 30-minute break, the Armenian parliament resumed its special session with opposition lawmaker Zaruhi Postanjyan continuing her speech. Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly Eduar Sharmazanov said the lawmaker had three minutes to finish her speech. “Do not worry so much! We are not going to cause you as much pain as you did,” Postanjyan said adding, “The New Armenia opposition group is taking measures to get rid of this regime and has announced a series of actions to be implemented in the next few days. We shall visit Kapan where we shall express our disobedience. In Goris, we shall hold a march against Liska (Suren Khachatrian, Governor of Syunik Marz). We shall hold meetings with residents in Sisian and Yeghegnadzor. We will not allow this criminal regime to digest the rigged referendum. I will speak more about it. We will not allow this criminal regime to digest the rigged referendum. I will speak more about it.” Her time was up, but Eduard Sharmazanov said the lawmaker was given another 20 seconds. “Though you promised not to say what you had been unable to say during the rallies, but you said it. As for your appeals when you call on people not to pay taxes, I want to say that if they do not pay how can we keep the army, pay pensions and salaries? So, you had better think before you speak" he said.
