Zhirayr Sefilyan: We shall not leave CEC in peace (video)
Should we not gather at this square yesterday the world would say we get the government we deserved, Zhirayr Sefilyan said during the rally held by the New Armenia Public Salvation Front at Liberty Square. “There were few of us but we saved the honor of our nation. If people did not take to the street, it does not mean that they were not with us,” he said. Mr Sefilyan believes that core of the opposition is formed at Liberty Square. At the same time he assured the ralliers that they are not going to leave the Central Electoral Commission in peace and will not admit the referendum results. “We shall soon reap the fruits of our suffering,” he said. After the rally, the New Armenia held a march to the CEC. At 6pm, the protesters will return to the square to participate in a rally to be staged by the Armenian National Congress.
