What children of Harichavank expect from new Constitution
Misha and Ferdinand are residents of Harichavank, they are friends, both are 12, they study in the 7th grade. They only know that the Constitution is “the book of the laws of our country”. Which are the laws the boys would like to be included in the Constitution? Ferdinand notes, “So that all the people will be equal, that there will be much justice.” Misha adds, “I wish there were such laws in the Constitution, that there was peace at the borders, there was no war.” In order to ease the burden of his parents Ferdinand cultivates the garden, “I cultivate different trees- peach, apple, cherry. During summer I cultivate the land so that my mother and father don’t work hard in order to buy clothes for school.” Misha wants to become an actor, Frunzik is his favorite actor, “But I know that it is very difficult to become like Frunzik. I don’t know whether I will become or not, but I want very much.” What kind of country do they want to have? “I would like to have such a country that the parents didn’t leave for Russia in order to work, they stayed with their children in the village,” says Ferdinand. “The same…” adds Misha with a smile.
