No contract signed yet: Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex not sold yet (video)
During Armenian government’s question-and-answer session in parliament, opposition lawmaker Levon Zurabyan also asked the Cabinet about the fate of the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. He reminded that the according to press reports the complex was first sold to one person, then to another whose name was involved in corruption scandals. “The Republic of Armenia sign contracts with legal entities and not with owners and it does not matter how owners change. Should there be any desire to conclude shameful deals, the contract will not offer such tough terms. The Complex has not appeared in anyone’s hands because we have not signed any contract,” said David Harutyunyan, Head of the Government Staff.
