Manvel Badeyan: Zaruhi Postanjyan said she was not ready to shed her blood (video)
Republican lawmaker Manvel Badeyan today announced in parliament that during the debates on the 2016 state budget he paid attention to assessments rather than figures. Along with the speeches of his teammates, the Republican Mp also likes the speeches of opposition lawmakers Hrant Bagratyan (Armenian National Congress - HAK) and Vahe Hovhannisyan (Prosperous Armenia Party - BHK). “They made compassionate and insightful speeches,” Mr Badeyan said. However, he criticized the speech of Zaruhi Postanjyan from the Heritage Party calling it a ridiculous speech. “Two hours ago that person [Postanjyan] was at the US Embassy in Armenia. When she was asked whether she was ready for bloodshed in her country, she said she was. In reply to the next question whether she was ready to shed her blood, she said she wasn’t. she will remove the chestnuts, while others shed their blood…” Speaking about Nikol Pashinyan’s speech, the Republican lawmaker said it was ‘social demagogy.’ “In the same way, the lawmaker could have inquired whether parliamentarians in Denmark eat three times less than Armenian parliamentarians. Besides, he did not take into consideration to the fact that people in Denmark eat more fish than bread. He [Pashinyan] could have formulated his question in a clear way.”
