Five dead as high-speed train derails in France
A high-speed TGV train has derailed in the east of France, informs France Bleu Alsace on its Twitter page. According to France-Presse, at least 5 people were killed. As media outlets report, sound of explosion was heard at the scene. There were no passengers on board. Most of the wagons derailed and turned over. According to preliminary information the derailment occurred near the eastern French city of Strasbourg. Ambulances hurried to the scene. The incident happened just hours after 127 people died in a series of terror attacks in Paris.
